Send files between devices on the same Wi-Fi. Fast. Private. No app needed.
Dropintab started as a private tool I made for myself, then I opened it up so anyone can use it. The goal is to keep it free for as long as I can.
How it works
- Open it in any browser on both devices, on the same Wi-Fi. Nearby devices show up on their own.
- Pick one person or everyone, then add files, photos or a note.
- The other side accepts, and the file saves straight to their device.
You can also create a private room, or join one with a room code.
Why it feels different
- Any device. Phones, tablets and computers, on any OS.
- Private. Files go device to device and are never uploaded.
- Fast. Transfers run at your Wi-Fi speed, with no size limit.
- Picks up again. If the signal drops or the page reloads, the transfer resumes where it stopped.
